It's almost time to plan your winter skiing holiday. If you don't want to go to the Alps, there are many good alternatives in Sweden. Åre, Sälen, Vemdalen... But which ski resort actually has the most satisfied visitors? Our sister company Nordic Bench has collected feedback from 2,800 people who visited Swedish mountain facilities. Questions have been answered about, among other things, slopes, nightlife, child-friendliness, cross-country skiing tracks and whether the facility delivers value for money. The results have been compiled in a detailed report where you can clearly see what distinguishes the various mountain destinations from the visitor's point of view.
Many of us thought that Åre would take first place, but that was not the case. Instead, we find Tänndalen and Funäsdalen at the top and Åre only in fourth place. You can find out where your favorite among mountain resorts ends up by reading the article that All about travel wrote about the report.
