Employee survey based on research
Employee survey QWC (Quality Work Competence) is based on many years of research that focuses on identifying the most important areas for creating businesses characterized by good leadership, engaged employees, optimal workload/stress, good social climate, participation, efficiency and overall sustainability.
How does it work?
QWC analyzes operations based on 6 perspectives or areas. Within each perspective there are a number of scales that measure the specific area. In total, the Springlife method consists of 11 scales. In addition, there is an overall scale (dynamic focus number) that weights the same results on the other scales into an overall and summary measure of organizational and employee health.
The areas that the scales were developed to measure have been identified through a large number of focus group interviews with employees within a health care. Based on these focus group interviews as well as Professor Arnetz and other international research, the 6 areas that the scales were developed to measure were defined. The questions, or so-called items, in each scale were developed and tested in a large number of studies.
The scales have been validated and reliability tested in further studies and shown to meet scientific requirements that ensure that the scales measure what they intend to measure and do so reliably. More information about the scales and how they were developed and validated can be found in the references.
In the study "Organizational climate, occupational stress, and employee mental health: mediating effects of organizational efficiency", thousands of employees at several of Sweden's largest hospitals participated in the survey, which was published in one of the world's most reputable work environment journals (Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine). .
