Quicksearch has along with SKL, Blekinge Institute of Technology and 14 counties, developed and tested Webbkollen - a method and a tool for following up patients after they have left the department/clinic. The aim is to get the patient's perspective and pick up areas for improvement, as well as being able to follow the results of these areas.
The web check is also a way to let the patients speak. It creates security and it also becomes clear where there are areas for improvement in care.
The method is simple and provides an overview and makes visible possible causes of insecurity, problems with their drug treatment and readmissions to hospital.
Since 2012, the project Better life for sick elderly provides the web-based tool. Accounting takes place at any level – local, regional and national and is simply presented in a ready-made template.
The tool is free of charge in 2014.
